I took the front drip rails off to finish removing the factory seam sealer so my acid wash will get where it needs to go. Unfortunately the acid will kill the lead joints at the top of the A post so they will have to be re-leaded.
After I finish cleaning up the mess from blasting, I just have a couple of holes to patch, a little hammer work, and some acid washing to do. Then I get to start putting some of this metal back.
Still a bit to go. It takes longer to reclaim the media than it does to blast.
The rest of the cowl sheet metal should be here tomorrow.
