The knuckles in the back ground still need to be polished, and as stated before, the front calipers still need sanding. You can see the difference between blasted, 400 grit sanded, 1000 grit sanded, and black emery polished in this picture.
This is after using black emery. After everything has been polished with black emery I will go back and hit everything with some white diamond to really make it pop.
400 grit in first two pictures. 1000 grit in second two pictures. One caliper still needs 1000 grit sanding and one needs complete sanding. (Last picture) I should be polishing by the end of the week.
I've got six days worth of wet sanding between these two knuckles. Working on sanding the calipers now.
It will probably take me the rest of the week to finish wet sanding this aluminum. You can see the difference between the blasting and sanding stages in the pictures on the left. There are several spots of road rash that I couldn't completely remove without compromising the integrity of the pieces. Overall I think they will turn out really nice once they get polished.
